Witch’s Eyes – Green Eyes.
The Colour of Nature and Ancient Magic.

Rare and ever-changing,
green eyes have been surrounded by an aura of mystery for centuries.
In literature, and modern spirituality, green eyes are still associated with mystery, intuition, independence, nature,
and something difficult to decipher.
A witch’s green eyes were like the eyes of nature itself – beautiful, wild, and impossible to fully tame.
Perhaps that is why they fit the image of a witch so perfectly.

In old tales, green eyes were sometimes described as the gaze of a woman who knows more, feels more deeply, and sees what others cannot.
In magical symbolism, the colour green became associated with the earth, healing, intuition, wild nature, and knowledge drawn from the natural world.
Green has always belonged to nature. It is the colour of trees, leaves, grass, and herbs.
In magical imagery, green therefore became much more than just a colour. It was a symbol of a deep connection with the living earth.
What Traits Were Associated with Witches?
Over time, folklore created an entire catalogue of signs by which a woman who practised magic could supposedly be recognised. These beliefs varied depending on the place and period, but certain characteristics appeared repeatedly:
unusual or piercing eyes, believed to have the power to cast a spell or enchant others, birthmarks, moles, and scars, sometimes interpreted as mysterious signs. Auburn-brown, very dark, or exceptionally long hair. Knowledge of herbs, roots, mushrooms, and natural healing methods,
living alone or on the outskirts of society,
Independence and an unwillingness to conform to the expectations of others.
The presence of animals, particularly cats, owls, ravens, or toads, which folklore often associated with magic. An interest in dreams, prophecies, the moon, and changes occurring in nature.
Healing abilities, which some considered a gift while others viewed them with suspicion.

How to Recognise a Witch?

Witch was impossible to forget.
She left behind a memory that was difficult to describe —
a strange longing, as though something disappeared with her the moment she was gone.
Old tales say that a witch cannot be recognised by a single sign. Her true nature reveals itself in subtle details — in her gaze, her presence, her extraordinary intuition, and her connection with the natural world.
It was said that a true witch possesses something that is difficult to name. When she enters a room, her presence can be felt before she even speaks.
Her eyes are said to be the first sign. Green, grey, or changing their shade depending on the light. According to legend, a witch’s gaze was piercing — as though she could see not only the person standing before her, but also everything they were trying to hide.
A witch could also be recognised by her unusual connection with nature. The forest never felt foreign to her. She was drawn to ancient trees, herbs, stones, the night sky, and the light of the moon. She was believed to instinctively sense an approaching storm, recognise plants, and notice changes in nature long before anyone else did.
It was also believed that animals behaved differently around her. Cats, ravens, owls, and other wild creatures did not fear her, as though they sensed something familiar in her presence.
Another sign was intuition. A witch was said to sense events before they happened, experience unusually vivid dreams, notice recurring symbols, and sometimes know things that — at least seemingly — she had no way of knowing.
She also followed a rhythm of her own. Silence did not make her uncomfortable, solitude did not frighten her, and the night could feel as natural to her as the day. But the most important sign, they said, could not be seen at all.
It was the feeling she left behind. She was impossible to forget. She left behind a memory that was difficult to describe — a strange longing, as though something disappeared with her the moment she was gone.
Something between peace and unease. A feeling that behind an ordinary gaze lay an ancient kind of knowledge — something that could never be learned from books. And only when you looked into her eyes could you feel that you were looking at someone who remembered more than she should.

Tarot Cards – A Story Written in Energy

Lay down the cards, and a story begins to unfold.
For centuries, people have tried to look beyond the boundaries of what is visible and obvious.
They observed the stars, candle flames, water, dreams, runes, and signs appearing in nature.
Tarot became one of the most extraordinary tools on this symbolic journey.
For a witch, Tarot is a mirror of intuition —
a way of uncovering hidden emotions and seeing a situation from a perspective she may not have considered before.
It is not always about asking the simple question: “What will happen in the future?”
Sometimes, the more important questions are:
What is happening around me?
What truth am I refusing to see?
What should I leave behind?
Where is my current path leading me?
Tarot does not have to provide one fixed and unchangeable answer.
It can reveal possibilities, directions, and symbols, which the reader interprets through their own knowledge and intuition.
